TRAVIS COUNTY WATER TREATMENT PLANT #4
Austin, Texas
The City of Austin sought architectural services for the west Austin development of the Travis County Water Treatment Plant #4. This 500-million-dollar project led by Carollo Engineers sits on a 92-acre site. Our work with them involves the undertaking of all buildings and site features as Architects. We have seventeen structures on site ranging from administrative and operational functions to specialized water treatment plant equipment enclosures, including two office buildings, the Administration Building and the Maintenance Building, which are on target to receive LEED® Silver Certification. Both buildings employ the use of rainwater collection systems for reuse on the site and the public areas of the Administration Building are completely accessible serving as the public face and the control center for the entire site.
