With degrees in both architecture and interior design, Mr. Kolar counts among his specialties programming, interior architecture, and space planning. Mr. Kolar works extensively on the design of educational facilities for public school districts and for higher education, and in the course of his career, has designed and managed facilities for educational clients throughout central and south Texas. Mr. Kolar has maintained historic architecture as an area of primary interest. Thus he has sought involvement in the firm’s projects with a historic component. His advocacy for preservation has led several public bodies to adaptive reuse projects when demolition was being considered.
